As the videos were watched, properties appearing in the videos were noted. These properties were then grouped into four main categories:

  • Visual Aids are visual elements in the video that help the viewer follow along.
  • Presenting Information are the various ways videos demonstrated their topic, such as by showing lines of code.
  • Video Qualities are qualities of the video itself, such as having audio or high-definition (HD) video quality.
  • Supplemental Material are extra material found on the website hosting the video.

Each of these categories will be discussed in detail in the upcoming sections of this website. The table below lists the property tracked, and the video ID's that that property appeared in.
